ABOUT SOFTWARE SIMPLIFIED
Lorrie is the owner and a personal instructor for Software Simplified. She started her business in Kingston in 2004.
Lorrie saw a niche market for computer users who only needed to learn specific Microsoft ® Office program features that are most relevant to their jobs.
Lorrie learned this while teaching various Office programs to the staff at the Royal Military College as well as students in the Continuing Education program at St. Lawrence College and listening to the students’ learning needs.
Lorrie had used computers for over two decades in various office environments which helped her understand which program features were most used by the average user.
Using all of this insight, Lorrie decided to start her own business. She has since taught these courses to staff and councillors at township offices in the Kingston area as well as other organizations in the public and private sectors.
Not in Kingston? Not a problem.
We travel outside of Kingston.
